PRESENTATION

Who are we ?

The Harrouet Group is, above all, a family story! It began in 1920 with Eric’s grandfather, who settled in St Julien de Concelles with 3 hectares of land.

In 1963, his son, Gilbert Harrouet, took over the business. In 1988, Eric Harrouet took over the family business.

In 1995, he founded the ERIPAC washing and packaging station. In 2021, Mathieu, the 4th generation of Harrouet farmers, joined the family business. Today, the company covers over 400 hectares of land!

The cooperative
VAL NANTAIS

Gilbert Harrouet, Eric's father, took over and created the VAL NANTAIS cooperative with other producers. This marked the beginning of the long history of market gardening in Nantes.

The farm now covers 30 hectares. Eric Harrouet takes over the family business.

Creation of an ERIPAC washing and packaging station. It currently covers 8000 m².

First greenhouses
First plastic greenhouses
2003 marks the arrival of our first GAP plastic greenhouses, which represent 1Ha

Installation of Mathieu

Installation of Mathieu, 4th generation of Harrouet, intended to take over all the operations.

Launch of a new activity
Launch of the 4th range activity. The farm currently covers more than 350 hectares of open fields and 100 hectares of large shelters.

KEY POINTS

Eripac is distinguished by three key elements

The company ERIPAC, owned by producer Eric Harrouet, has been specializing in the production, washing and packaging of lamb’s lettuce and young shoots for over 30 years in the Nantes region.

Development supported by institutions

Acquisition of new production equipment as part of the company’s modernization and diversification.

The project funded a production line including bagging machines and multihead weighers for packaging lamb’s lettuce into bags, as well as the creation of 3 full-time equivalent (FTE) positions.
